Silent Room

In the silent room, a door,

your diaries in a gutter or

in dumpsters. We keep words,

the other, asking the High, Why

are we here, who is my mother,

my daughter. I dream of cutting

open the stomach for food,

a few pieces of fruit, or

what  you thought when I was born.
